Following a decade of experimentation, primarily through grants for social enterpises and startup investments made privately by family members; Impact was formalised in 2021 to source, invest and manage the family’s early stage investments.
Our investments today follow broad themes, particularly; Human Rights & Inequality, Young People & Children, Alleviating Poverty & Its Root Causes, Mental Health, Climate and Sustainable Energy

Today our portfolio consists of a dozen early-stage companies backed from Seed to Series B, with a strong skew towards hardware, as well as a climate and impact focused venture funds.
We are able to invest long term, are not averse to indefinite holding periods, and seek to add value beyond capital through our existing operations and assets through open innovation.
